This tune is taken from Steyoyoke’s latest Paradigm collection, this time opened by the ethereal ‘Reeds’ by producer Alason. It progresses slowly over its seven-minute duration, allowing wobbling synths and sharp melody lines to come to the forefront, then drift away as though they were never there. The whole piece seems to be leading to the explosive final section, which fills the stereo field with perfectly produced sound. On the compilation, Steyoyoke says “each production features unique basslines, synthetic and organic sounds, as well as arrangements that cohesively bring forth a harmonious tune”. - Dan Peeke
